Join the Greek School of Brighton for a fun-filled fancy dress party to celebrate apokries. Signifying the beginning of Lent in the Greek Orthodox Tradition, Apokries is the Greek version of Halloween. Children of all ages are welcome and a DJ will be on hand to entertain the children with music, dancing and games. Parents are welcome to join in the festivities. Entrance is free and refreshments, including souvlakia, loukoumades and drinks will be on sale. Please show your support by coming to celebrate the Apokriatiko party with us, and don’t forget to dress up in your fanciest fancy dress.
The event starts at 12:30 pm on Sunday 26th February directly after the church service and will take place in the hall next to the church.
