Greek School of Brighton
The Brighton Greek School of the Holy Trinity is an independent, non-profit making organisation registered as a charity trust.
Brighton Greek School aims to teach the Greek language and culture and to encourage a love of Greece and Cyprus, an understanding of their history and recognition and pride in their legacy.
In particular, it strives to show younger generations the influence that this rich cultural source has exerted and continues to exert on western society as a whole, quite apart from the usual benefits that stem from the knowledge of another language and culture.
We have over 120 registered students and offer Greek lessons to all age groups, ranging from nursery school through to adult classes.
We also offer GSCE and A-level classes for Modern Greek and have several students enrolled in these courses.
Adult classes are aimed at beginners and are open to native Greek speakers and non-Greek speakers alike.
Registrations for the current school year are still open.

The Greek School Committee is a parent teacher’s association that organises the social events that accompany the curriculum.
A summer picnic, national and religious celebrations, the carnival, day excursions and an annual Christmas get-together are just some of the many events organised by the committee.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and parents are kindly invited to volunteer.
The school committee chairman is Manny Makratzakis and he can be contacted on 07879632189.
